Mission 

The Mission of Borman’s School Counseling Program is to deliver a comprehensive program and services to all students, consistently and with an open mind and an understanding of the military community that Borman educators serve. While focusing on the emotional well-being is essential, it cannot be the only area where Counselors make an impact. The School Counselor is most effective when supporting students in academic achievement while building essential Social Skills and Emotional awareness and intelligence.

Accountability

Direct Student Services

  • School Counselors provide classroom lessons to students with standards set by the American School Counseling Association (ASCA).

  • School Counselors provide small group sessions to students who may need extra support.

  • School Counselors provide individual brief Counseling to students who are in crisis in any manner.
